the farmer's market
anna and i went to the farmer's market to get some fruits and veggies. i was expecting a local farmer's market like others that i have been to...small lean-to made of wood with some small tables set up. no. it was a massive gated area with huge warehouses filled with trucks (literally)full of peaches and watermellons, squash and corn. we have found heaven on earth. here's some pics of what we got for about 20 bucks. sweet!

you got all that for twenty bucks!? what a steal! I went healthy shopping yesterday, and got 1 cucumber...1 red bell pepper...4 peaches...2 nectarines...spinach...and tomatoes and it cost me 40 bucks!!!!
oooo, yum yum yum. that's so funny i was just looking for farmer's markets in the district. i want to start buying most of our produce and meat locally if i can. i'll let you know how it goes!
